The Last picture before we lost our camera

We lost our camera at the zoo and this was the last picture we took. Bless the sweet soul(s) that returned our mangled, run over camera to the Zoo - the memory card was intact! Thank you!!!

My Little Minnie Mouse

Thanks to Aunite "M" for this super cool robe that we have to wear EVERY night before going to bed. "I want to wear my Minnie Mouse!" Do you know how hard it is to convince a 2 and 1/2 year old to take this cool robe off and actually put on her pjs?

Peek a Who?

This is the best book ever! Elsie loved it and now so does Wyatt. Check the cute outfit a-la Grandma Wire.

Great Grandddaddy is so Fun!

Here are the kids with Great Granddaddy. He never ceases to amaze me with his creativity - here they are being lions. Gotta love it that this 91 year old still can play like a 2 year old!

My Little Helper

Elsie has decided she needs to help feed her brother. And she is actually quite good at it now and he thinks it is hilarious. Now, if I could just teach her how to change a diaper, I would be set!

Relaxing at the Pool

Have you ever seen a 10 month old so relaxed in the water? As long as this kid has a ball to play with, I think he would do jusst about anything! Elsie had to play along as well. Can't you just see her 15 years from now?

Shoe allowance

Watch out daddy! Pretty soon you will be handing out two shoe allowances - one for mommy AND one for Elsie!

School

Here are a few pictures from the school where Elsie and Wyatt spend mosst of their days during the week. The summer schedule looks so good, I want to go to school most days rather than going to work. Mrs. Mildred is one of Elsie's favorite people.

Flower Girl

Elsie loved Aunt June's garden, she wanted to pick the flowers, but soon learned about the importance of leaving them behind for others to enjoy. "Take only photos, leave only footprints" - Here is the photo that we "took with us" in place of the flowers.

New Friends

Elsie and her cousin totally hit it off at our visit to Uncle Danny's. There were even tears when we left. Guess where we will be heading this summer - back to Cleveland, TX for a visit.

Cleveland visit to see Great Grandpa and Grandma Sue

We trekked to Cleveland, TX to see Uncle Danny, June, kids, cousins and Great Grandpa And Grandma Sue (who were in town from AZ). This was Wyatt's first visit, needless to say, he got some serious facetime with each. Elsie enjoyed getting to meet Uncle Danny's bird.

Better than the Horse?

When we finished riding Wyatt got to try out "Mr. Gary's" swing in the backyard. From the look on his face, I have the feeling he thought it was way cooler than the horseback ride.

Mommy I like it!

So, mommy's dreams have come true - Elsie fell in love with horseback riding today. When I asked her if she wanted to go faster or slower, she said "FASTER" and then, completely unprompted, she turned her little face to me while she was riding and said, "Mommy, I like it!" I think Wyatt likes to ride as well!

New Haircut

Elsie went to Snip-Its's this weekend for a new do! She got bangs and came out looking like a new girl. She held so still while she got he hair cut. What a big girl and how cute!
