The Easter Bunny is Scary!

Well, we tried to get a happy picture with the Easter Bunny, but alas, we were a little too scared to sit on the lap of a giant bunny without being a little frightened. Here is the best attempt we could manage. Of course, as we were leaving, Elsie said, "bye, bye bunny" like they had been good friends! Special thanks to Grandma for the lovely dress with matching jacket and to Grandmama for the cute shoes and socks!

Sliding is Super Fun

Elsie tried out the slide at the church playground last Sunday and boy was it fun! As you can see from the numerous photos of her coming down the slide, she wanted to do it again and again and again. I am just waiting for that word to enter her vocabulary. I don't think we will ever be able to leave church again without going to the playground on the way out!

Easter is Here!

Well, here she is in her new Easter dress and jacket (lovingly created by Grandma). Please note the fabulous new shoes that she can now wear cause it is finally EASTER!!! These pictures were taken at church by the fountain, which is always a big hit with the little kids. Carl even posed for a picture with Elsie - what a cute pair!

Easter Eggs

Here Elsie coloring Easter Eggs for the first time. She had a great time with her mommy and Grandmama (and Kiki). Check out her cute apron (borrowed from mommy). She was very helpful and handed all of the eggs to Grandmama so she could dip them in the cups of dye. She really liked touching the eggs when they were dripping dry.

Fun Day at the Zoo

This is Elsie with her mommy and their friends Rory and her mom Jill. Elsie was also joined by her cousin Lonon and her Uncle Howard and of course her Daddy. After visiting the Baboons (who are friends of Rory) everyone stopped here for a rest before heading on to the lunch spot. After the zoo visit, Elsie crashed in the car. There is a photo of her at the bottom sacked out in her car seat. Note the white fingered grip on her snack cup - even in her sleep.

Girlie Dress

This is another of Elsie's beautiful dresses made by her Grandma. Thought everyone would enjoy seeing her little personality. This is on a Sunday afternoon after church.
