Grocery Store fun

I have finally convinced the kids that going to the store is fun - but only because they can drive the "car". Too bad our local market does not have any of these. We have to go to the special store for this much fun.

As the World Turns

When you get to turn your car seat around - the world is a whole new place. This was taken very early one morning on the first day that Wyatt saw the world coming rather than going.

Cousin Lonon

Lonon (or Nonon) and Elsie calls him is one of Elsie's favorite people. You should hear her squeal when we are going to get to see him and Uncle Howard and Aunt Lizzy. I'm so glad we live close.

Flirt

Can you see the look on this little guys face? We are in so much trouble. He spent the entire time making eyes at the ladies next to us at lunch. Watch out - Wyatt is going to be a heartbreaker.

wyatt's Birthday - ONE

Wyatt had a great birthday party with his friends, Elmo, Cookie Monster and Oscar the grouch (on the cupcakes , of course!) and best of all Grandma Wire came to the party all the way from Virginia! Granddaddy celebrated his birthday with Wyatt - he was 92! Their birthdays are only tow days apart so they decided to have a joint party.

Wyatt finds the Fountain

Well, just like Elsie, Wyatt has found the best part about leaving church - the fountain in the atruim. So cool, and if you are fast you get to put your hand IN the water!

A Little Girl and her Shades

Does it get much cuter? We are in a dress phase, so all those shorts we bought for summer are just sitting in the closet. And when you have one a cute dress, you jusst have to wear your strawberry short cake sunglasses, I mean, hello? What else would match?

Bowling - Elsie's new favorite sport

We went to the church family bowling afternoon this past Sunday and found out that Elsie loves to bowl. She squealed at the top of her lungs each time it was her turn and mommy and daddy had to make fools of themselves in order to help her push the ball down the lane - thank goodness for bumpers on her lane. Her is the champion bowler and her pretty green ball.

Storm Surge

When Wyatt gets in the tub, he creates his own storm system. This night I got splashed so much I might has well have just gotten in with them! Watch out - tidal wave!!!

Ponies with HOLES

Here are, not one, but two pictures of Elsie's ponies with HOLES. She made me take a piture of each side so you could see them better. Amazing what you can do with elastic bands!

The Last picture before we lost our camera

We lost our camera at the zoo and this was the last picture we took. Bless the sweet soul(s) that returned our mangled, run over camera to the Zoo - the memory card was intact! Thank you!!!

My Little Minnie Mouse

Thanks to Aunite "M" for this super cool robe that we have to wear EVERY night before going to bed. "I want to wear my Minnie Mouse!" Do you know how hard it is to convince a 2 and 1/2 year old to take this cool robe off and actually put on her pjs?

Great Grandddaddy is so Fun!

Here are the kids with Great Granddaddy. He never ceases to amaze me with his creativity - here they are being lions. Gotta love it that this 91 year old still can play like a 2 year old!

My Little Helper

Elsie has decided she needs to help feed her brother. And she is actually quite good at it now and he thinks it is hilarious. Now, if I could just teach her how to change a diaper, I would be set!

Relaxing at the Pool

Have you ever seen a 10 month old so relaxed in the water? As long as this kid has a ball to play with, I think he would do jusst about anything! Elsie had to play along as well. Can't you just see her 15 years from now?

Shoe allowance

Watch out daddy! Pretty soon you will be handing out two shoe allowances - one for mommy AND one for Elsie!
