Wyatt's friend

In case you come to visit or see us out and about and need to know who is with Wyatt most of the time, let me do a formal introduction. Everyone, this is Eddie the Elephant. Eddie the Elephant this is everyone. Eddie is a cool guy who makes fun noises and has three great places to hold so you can swing him around.

Daddy's birthday

Jarad (aka Daddy) celebrated another birthday this November. We won't mentioned which one, only that he is older than mommy! Elsie helped to bake the cake. She poured the mix, the water and oil and then helped mommy mix it and pour it in the pans. What a helper! The best part was blowing out the candles with daddy. The follwing instructions were given out, "Don't touch it, Daddy. It's really hot!"

Everyday stuff

Saw this sitting out on the couch after everyone was asleep the other night. Grandmama had been here to help with dinner, bath and bedtime. Isn't it fun to run across something like this?

Thanksgiving 2008

We had a busy Turkey Day this year since we had one more than usual. Of course, Wyatt slept through Thanksgiving Dinner - oh well, next year. Elsie was dressed as an Indian and Wyatt had some pretty sweet orange and white duds for the occasion. We celebrated with Granddaddy, Papa, Grandmama, mommy, daddy, Wyatt and Elsie. The giant Turkey is on the wall at school. They paint a new mural every month or so. Mommy just had to get a picture the other day at school.

Birthday #2!

Elsie's second birthday was a blast. We had an Elmo theme and mommy made cupcakes to look just like Elmo himself! Lonon helped Elsie unwrap her presents and Wyatt even wore a hat! Grandma Wire was in town for the party as well, but I think she was too busy holding Wyatt to get in a picture.

Church Playground Fun

I think that I have mentioned before that we can never leave church without going to play for a little while on the playground. Well, this Sunday was no exception. We had fun swinging with mom and Grandmama and then playing in the tunnel.

Growing Everyday

Here is Wyatt in the cutest sheep outfit that Grandma Wire got him. I just had to take a picture of the back of the outfit. Don't you just love the tail? Anyway, he is growing, by the minute! Watch out.

Lonon's Party

Well, this was Lonon's third birthday and it was a blast. Everyone was there and the kids had a wonderful time. Granddaddy even helped Elsie drive Lonon's car and there was a bouncey to keep the small people entertained. Fun!

Mom and Dad

Since we never acutally get our phott taken together, I thought I would post one of mommy and daddy at the Truck of Treat celebration. Daddy was in charge of the event and mommy was there to be with the kiddos and have fun. Who knew mommy would win the adult costume contest for her inpersonation of Grandmama!

Halloween

Yes, I know, I am in trouble for not posting anything, but life has been a mess so here starts the catch up. This is Halloween 2008. Wyatt was a bunny and Elsie was Little Red Riding Hood - without the hood of course, since 2 year olds only wear things like that for a split second and you have to be a national geographic type photographer to capture images like that. The bottom photo is from Trunk or Treat at church. We decorated the back of the car to look like Grandmother's house.

Carving Pumpkins with Granddaddy

The kids and mommies all went over to Great Granddaddy's to carve pumpkins the Sat before Halloween. We had a blast and came away with some pretty cute Jack-o-lanterns!

Pumpkin Patch

We stopped and got pumpkins for Elsie and Wyatt on Sunday afternoon. The patch was full of great choices. Elsie picked out hers and then one for Wyatt. Thank goodness for big sisters. We are carving pumpkins on Saturday with Great-Granddaddy. More pictures to come. Happy Halloween!

The Fountain at Church

We cannot leave church without touching the water in the fountain. Since we do this every sunday, I thought I would capture this bit of life on the blog. This is Elsie with Grandmama doing the ritual fountain visit.

More Zoo Boo

Here is Elsie after she changed clothes at the Zoo Boo. She really had fun after she got in her comfy clothes. She was so tired that she passed out in the back seat on the way home.
